Last Saturday I had my baby shower! It was so fun and and great to see lots of friends and family. We had tons of fun activities and games to keep all the guests entertained. One of the games we played was "Don't say BABY!" where we had each guest pin four baby clothes pins onto their collars and if some caught another person saying the word "BABY" they got to steal one of their clothes pins. Whoever had the most clothes pins at the end won a prize. We had some pretty close contestants but in the end the winner was Michelle!
Instead of doing a traditional sign in book, we decided to have guests write their well wishes in this cute children's book, Guess How Much I Love You.
We had a headband station set up so guests could sit down and relax and let their imagination go wild by creating a headband for baby girl. I must say, we had some very talented headband makers. They all turned out so cute and I can't wait to have our little girl model them when she comes!
Another game we played was "Baby Bingo!" Guests filled out a bingo card of all the gifts they thought I would receive then traded cards with someone else. As I opened a gift that was on their bingo card, they covered it up with a sticker. The first person who got five gifts in a row called out "Bingo" and then received a prize. For the prizes, we passed out cute cookie mix jars.
I made these adorable photo props out of scrapbook paper. I think they are so fun and really make for some goofy pictures!
For party favors we put together these tiny flower pots with packets of seeds. With it now being spring, I figured it would be perfect to send guests home with something to plant and watch grow, just as we will soon get to watch our little baby girl grow.
I'm so grateful to everyone who came to the baby shower! We received so many wonderful gifts and had a blast celebrating the coming of our sweet baby girl!
